He pay his life to save 14 people lives

     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLdIq2CYBp4&feature=related

How great are the sacrifices and how much we owe to those who sacrifice by them self for us. How can we feel proud of a person who try to save other person? how if he saved two or three? can you imagin one person saved 14 lives?!
Sunday 6- 2009 at 10:32 am, in our second main city-Jeddah- we had a bad time. The storm water drainage network was bad, and we had heavy rains in that year. a lot of cars sank in this water and people die. Farman Khan -32 years- was there, he couldn't  just watch as the others, but what he can do! he did not have any thing.  Khan used some cars's tires, wooden planks and rope to save 14 person screamed. 14 times he was linking the rope to stones and through it to the stranded people. While Khan in his way to save the 15, the flood cliff him, and the rope that he using to help those people was with him. Onlookers could not help him, the water's push was very strong, they just watch and pray. Moments later, Khan was show up finally, unfortunately just his body survived while his soul gone. People shocked and they were angry how they could not helped him, where is the Civil Defense. Public outcry hit at that time because of the failure of the Civil Defense to save the people.
Our tears still pouring down when we remember this hero who gave his life for saving 14 completely strangers people, living behind him wife and three small daughters.
If the stream had brought down the curtain on Khan's life, it will not close the curtain on his heroic .

Political Climate in Saudi Arabia

In our world we have different kinds of governments to lead different countries, for example there are: kingdom as Saudi Arabia, Republic as Egypt and federal government as USA. And according to the classification of the country the political regime will be different.
In my country-Saudi Arabia- we have a kingdom government, and our king is King Abdullah ben Abdulaziz Al-Saud who is in the same time the government president. The Positions of authority in Saudi Arabia are the king, the Crown, Shura Council which is responsible for issuing various regulations and the Allegiance Council which must approve for the new king because he is the one who transmits the authority to him.
What make me proud of our kings, that they are not using (king) as epithet In official correspondence, but they are using another name which is the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. It means they are chosen to be a custodian of the sacred religious places.
The Saudi kingdom divided into cities and counties, the president of the county called the Prince, when the president of the city called the Mayor. In my kingdom to have a nationality there is a long list of conditions, for example: you should being lived more than 10 years in Saudi and you should be working...etc.
The positive points of the Kingdom government is the governance period, because the king will ruled the kingdom until he die; which gives the Kingdom the political stability and reduces the internal conflicts of ruling request. Via this type of government the kingdom can provide the amount of money that is supposed to spend for elections every 4 years.
The negative thing about the kingdom government there is almost no chance to change the King if he is a bad until he died. Other thing, we could not vote to choose the king, because the type of government in the Kingdom via the Inheritance.
The monarchy is still the old regime and modern. And no matter how different systems of governance, the people are not interested in the end about the system of government
but they interested about how they live safely, well and free.

My favorite main dish

Have you ever tried Chicken Tikka Masala before?
It is one of my favorite main dishes
It's originally from India, when I ate it for the first time it was so spicy, I could not eat it. Subsequently, when I went to the Indian restaurant they asked me as they always do about my favorite spicy level; I always choose 1 of 5. Usually the average level for non-Indian people from 1 - 3, if you choosing more you maybe can't eat it.
My husband and I like the Chicken Tikka Masala so much, but it's not a good idea to spend our money on the restaurants, so I decide to learn how to cook it. I searched in the Internet and I asked my family if they know the easiest way to cook it. I found alot of amazing ways to do it! The Chicken Tikka Masala consists of: Chicken Fillet, yogurt, salt, onion, garlic, lemon, tomato sauce and spices. And it always served with bread or white rice. It does not take alot of time to cooked; just 10-15 min.
After that I moved to my kitchen; which it’s a hard step, because I fell in the first time and in the second time, I could not choose the correct quantum. But the good news is I cooked it successfully at the third time. At first, just add the yogurt, salt, onion, garlic, lemon, tomato sauce and spices on the Chicken Fillet. Second, leave the Chicken Fillet for 15-30 min, then cook it with a little of oil on low heat for 10 min.
If you are interested about Chicken Tikka Masala it's not a problem, you can try it here in St. Louis at Saffron Restaurant. You will experience the Indian atmosphere and listening to Indian music. I hope you will enjoy there.

My experience as a student in America thus far

One of the resources to learn the difference between two things is the experience. And as I am study here in America, I want to share with you my experience as a student in America thus far to learn the difference between American and Saudi classes.
In America's classes I had a chance to meet students from non-Arab country. I have friends from Korea, China, Japan, India, Brazil and America. I learned a lot of information about their cultures and religions which I never know it before. I learned about Christianity and what they believe in Jesus. Farther more; I learned about some Chinese and Japanese special celebrations. What impressed me are the different meanings of colors in each different country, for example: the yellow color means the power in Chinese culture, when it does not have any meaning in my culture. While I am studding here in America, I believe it is a good time to correct the idea about Muslim student, by making them see how I am really and how I communicate with them.
In my country we have alot of Arabian students, but we never had non Arabic students in our classes; the reason behind that is the language. In our schools we study using our language which it's Arabic, but non Arabic students do not understand it. So, they have private schools to teaching them using their language. For that I just met students who had the same culture, language and religion as me. In my view; I believe the studying experience will not complete without study using the country host language.
